What this is
A personal blog written in Markdown. No server, no domain bill, nothing to pay for monthly.
How it runs
Posts are .md files. Once committed, they are built into static HTML and published to two free hosts at the same time:
- GitHub Pages — reachable from outside mainland China
- Cloudflare Pages — comparatively reachable from mainland China
Both addresses are subdomains provided by the platforms, and neither requires an ICP filing.
Why no server
Because a blog is static content: each post is already an HTML file by the time it is built. There is no database, no login, and nothing that needs to be computed on the fly.
